Paula McCullough, E.A.
I found accounting in 10th grade when I took a class I thought was going to teach me how to organize my vinyl records - Recordkeeping. I knew before the end of the semester that this was what I was born to do. I went to Chapman University in Orange, California and graduated with my bachelor's degree in accounting in 1991 and have never looked back. I have spent the lion's share of my last 30+ years in the field of accounting working with large CPA firms all the way down to small businesses.
I have specialized in business and personal tax return preparation for most of my time in the profession, but for about 6 years of working as a full charge bookkeeper. I earned my Enrolled Agent's license a few years back, which means the IRS has tested me and found me an expert in personal and business taxes.
Having prepared over a thousand business tax returns, I have seen it all when it comes to books. Over this time I developed a unique skillset that allows me to quickly grasp what is needed to adjust and correct even the most unruly of books. I love what I do and I love helping business owners feel confident that they can pull reports from QuickBooks and know that they are right.
On a personal level, I have a busy family with a husband who works too much and three beautiful teenagers that keep me busy. My son has autism and needs a lot of extra support and while family is my highest priority, my clients and their needs run a close second. I am committed to making sure my clients get the support they need and take great pride in my work.
